UPCOMING MUSIC: BIG IN TEL AVIV Popular 1980s German band Alphaville will perform two concerts next week as part of its European tour. Originally known as Forever Young, the band took the name Alphaville from the acclaimed 1965 film by Jean-Luc Godard.In 1983, Alphaville landed an international record deal with WEA, and the following year they released its debut single, “Big in Japan.” The song soon became a worldwide hit.
