Outlook for Rio: Tiyouri wasn’t expected to be part of the blue-and-white delegation, but the California-born Israeli booked her flight to Brazil in her first-ever marathon. Tiyouri, who spent four years at the University of San Francisco, is the national record holder in the 5,000m, but chose to turn her focus to the marathon to improve her chances of reaching Rio and needed just one race to do so.
