1. Lebanon has been bustling in the past few days following the discovery of the biggest prostitution network ever operated in the country. While pro-Hezbollah newspapers deem that the Lebanese organization aided in exposing the network, anti-Hezbollah social media activists have launched an attack against the organization, claiming that one of its members was the network's head.

2. President Reuven Rivlin’s office refused to confirm or deny a report that appeared in Yediot Aharonot on Wednesday to the effect that while in Russia last month, Rivlin asked President Vladimir Putin to use his influence with Syria in order to return the remains of master spy Eli Cohen to Israel.

3. The Jordanian government sent the Israeli Embassy in Amman a memorandum of protest over the "repeated incursions at Temple Mount," the Jordanian daily newspaper al-Ghad reported Wednesday.

4. Former president Moshe Katsav's request for early release from prison was denied by the parole board on Wednesday.

5. Electricity was restored to full levels in the West Bank after the Palestinian Authority transferred NIS 20 million to the Israel Electric Corporation on Wednesday. The payment goes toward paying down its NIS 1.74 billion debt, and stop a series of rolling electricity cuts.
