The police recently arrested the heads of the "Hamad" crime organization, including the group's leader, Izad Hamad, security sources revealed on Wednesday.
The gang is suspected of shootings on the streets of Jaffa, extortion leading to a kidnapping, murder, and attempted murder.
In addition, the gang members - including a Beduin who served in the IDF - are suspected of firing LAU missiles that hit a private home and infant-care center (Tipat Halav) in Jaffa.
The Beduin member allegedly taught his colleagues how to use the missiles.
