2 die in northern drive-by; murder-suicide in Petah Tikva

In two separate incidents, man apparently stabs wife to death, commits suicide; two killed in shooting at a gas station in Kfar Iblin.

Five murders have been reported in the past ten days in Israel, with a murder suicide in Petah Tikva, as well as a drive by shooting in Kfar Iblin, both on Thursday morning.
Avi Andargia, 43, and his wife Maslech Andargia, 31, from Petah Tikva were killed overnight Wednesday in what appeared to be a murder-suicide in the central Israel city.

It is suspected that Andargia stabbed his wife with a pocket knife after a domestic dispute broke out in their apartment. One the neighbors who had hear the wife scream called the police, and according to witnesses, the Andargia hung himself from the metal bars of the apartment balcony when he heard the police knocking on the his door.
Police reportedly found signs of a struggle and broken bottles around the apartment.
Andargia was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife was brought by a Magen David Adom crew to Beilinson Hospital in serious condition, but passed away from her injuries.
The couple were said to have been recent immigrants to Israel who had been living in the country for several years and had no known police records or history of violent domestic disputes.
Police stressed that at this time not all the details concerning the incident are clear and new facts are likely to be discovered as investigators begin combing the scene of the crime.
Also on Thursday morning, two 25-year-olds were shot by a passing car at the gas station in the northern village of Iblin.
The two were fatally wounded; MDA declared them dead at the site of the shooting.
There reportedly was a security camera in the gas station, but it was turned off at the time of the shooting.
Their identities are still unknown. Police is investigating the incident, and has blocked roads in the Sfaram area an attempt to catch the shooter.
Other recent incidents include a 17-year-old boy who was killed while walking on Acre's promenade, and a mother of four killed in Lod.
