Drivers are instructed to turn on their headlights during the day on all inter-city roads starting on Monday.The Transportation Ministry issued a statement on Sunday, reminding the public that the ordinance would be in effect between November 1 and March 31, and that the penalty for drivers caught with their headlights off is a fine of NIS 100 and two penalty points.Buses, taxis and freight vehicles must keep their lights on during the day when driving within city limits as well as on inter-city roads.
