Avichai Mandelblit.The oversight was revealed during the trial of S., the soldier accused of killing the Palestinian woman in the report. S.'s case was opened in April 2010, when a reserve officer said that he found the report, which had not been transferred to Mandelblit, on an IDF laptop computer.The soldier's lawyers have demanded that the trial be stopped until Military Police finish investigating the commanders in the case.
