A mini-symposium in English will be held in conjunction with the closing of the Israel Museum Jerusalem’s exhibition “Joan Miró’s Spanish Dancer.” Among the participants are Prof. Robert Lubar of New York University; Ninotchka Bennahum of the University of California; Yaron Hasson on solo guitar; Noa Bizansky-Ronenvsinger, Uri Bracha, guitar; and the Remangar Flamenco Company.

Apply art

For the first time in Israel, renowned Italian painter and sculptor Ugo Nespolo presents a one-man exhibition. Nespolo is particularly known for his experimental films and his artistic collaborations in advertising, theater and literature.

Make a move

IntimaDance, the small-scale annual dance festival at Tmuna Theater in Tel Aviv, takes place this year from June 19 to 22. The 11 stage works participating in the festival will focus on dayto- day movement.

Titled Daily Move, the works present different aspects of movement in regular life situations. There are two programs that will also include musical performances.

Now, 22 years after her first performance in Israel, Greek singer Haris Alexio returns to perform two concerts with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra in the newly renovated Mann Auditorium, Tel Aviv. This is the fifth concert tour of the famous singer who is known as The Goddess of Greek Music.

Kick up your heels
