Iranian armed forces launched attacks on US military infrastructure in Gulf states on Thursday following US strikes on Iran's southern provinces, further eroding a three-week-old ceasefire.

The night passed without military action by either the US or Iran, but tensions remained high across the Middle East following the escalation in recent days.

Israeli public broadcaster KAN News, citing a Syrian security source, reported that the group responsible for the attacks belonged to Islamic State (ISIS).
The report follows the newest bout of attacks between the US and Iran over the Strait of Hormuz.
“I wouldn’t be overconfident if I were the Iranians that they will be able to make this work well for them,” Huckabee said.
According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), since 2023 there have been “over 5,330 settler attacks resulting in casualties, property damage or both.”
Further zones are being mapped out and planned, the US official added, as Israel begins implementing its commitment to an initial withdrawal from Lebanon pending the removal of terror threats.
The cigarette-filled pineapples were transported in a truck carrying a shipment purchased by an Israeli company, intended to reach the Kerem Shalom Crossing as part of humanitarian aid.
“Iranian lives matter. Iranians are not just numbers in headlines," Kazemi family members who live outside of Iran told the Post. "The world must not look away."
