CPJ maintains that affiliation with a militant organization is not sufficient for exclusion if a person was working as a civilian journalist and was not directly participating in hostilities.
The funding would help deliver health care, clean water, sanitation and hygiene services, waste management and protection support to people in Gaza and the West Bank.
The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority said the decision was based on US sanctions imposed on Iranian airlines over the use of airports around the world.
“Our people have been in the streets every night to defend our Iran and to prevent those incited and armed by the US and Israel from creating insecurity within the country,” Pezeshkian said.
"We will move to strike nuclear facilities and any site belonging to them again if Tehran crosses any of the red lines, whether with or without the participation of the US," an Israeli official said.

The agreement followed a meeting between Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the two leaders said in a joint statement.
Iran has targeted the region with more than 1,000 drone and missile attacks since February. It has sought to strike at Kurdish dissident groups as well as US diplomatic facilities and other sites.
