The meeting follows a Washington Post report earlier on Friday that Saudi Arabia has not ruled out developing a nuclear weapons program, according to US intelligence assessments.

Russia and Iran called for a diplomatic solution to tensions after the US-Israel war with Tehran, as foreign ministers Lavrov and Araghchi met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
