Qatar said Wednesday it opposes any military strike on Iran, and will not allow the United States to launch an attack from its soil, Al Jazeera reported."We will not accept any aggressive action against Iran from Qatar," Qatari Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani told Al Jazeera in an interview to be aired on Wednesday.The US army has access to the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, a small Arab state occupying a peninsula on the Persian Gulf south of Iran.Thani insisted that Iran and the US "know that Qatar's position is a refusal of any military operation against Iran."Iran has come to heads with the West over its nuclear program, which Tehran insists is for civilian purposes.
