Search party heads to Chile to find missing Israeli

Twenty-four year old Rishon Lezion resident declared missing; father leads delegation to Chile in search of son.

An Israeli delegation set out on Wednesday night in search of an Israeli tourist who went missing in Chile almost a week ago, Army Radio reported Thursday morning.
Rishon Lezion resident Erez Szpakier, 24, was last seen at the Puyehue National Park in the Andes Mountains on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry confirmed, according to Channel 2.
Erez's father was leading the delegation while his brother Shaul, took to his Facebook page to enlist the help of the public in finding him. He stated that Erez was last seen by friends with whom he was traveling.
The Foreign Ministry stated that "at this stage the youth has been declared missing and the search for him has commenced. The Israeli Embassy in Chile is is involved and is in contact with all of the relevant parties.
