"A large area of Gaza will be surrounded to protect settlements," Defense Minister Israel Katz said. "In my vision and in due time, Nahal nucleus groups will be established in the northern part."
These gaps were identified during post-war investigations to prepare for future conflicts with the terrorist group.
The Israel Police’s statement comes after outlets, including the Qatar state-run Al Jazeera, shared footage of the arrests, claiming the police had “stormed” the Christmas event.
IDF forces also located approximately 10 mortar bombs hidden inside a children’s blanket in a residential building in the Beit Hanoun area.
Vadim Kupriyanov, an Israeli in his 40s, was arrested in December 2025 for allegedly working with Iranian intelligence, carrying out security missions for payment over the past two months.
The materials allegedly include a video documenting a violent altercation after Gallant was denied entry to the office.
The announcement gave no details on the terrorist targeted in the action.
In separate incidents, three suspects were arrested in the Kifl Haris and Deir Istiya areas for throwing rocks at a main route.
"IDF forces operated in the village of Bazariya in the Shomron Brigade to demolish the home of the terrorist Malek Ibrahim Salem," the military said.
Israel recorded a 6.1% drop in its overall score, the sharpest decline in the index’s history, placing it at the bottom of the 50-country ranking for a second year in a row.
