Nati Gabbay, 32, has been appointed the managing editor of JPost.com, The Jerusalem Post’s website, taking over from Sara Miller.
Gabbay previously worked as Internet editor/reporter and foreign news editor for Channel 2 television.
Born in Israel to American parents, Gabbay has a BA in political science and Middle Eastern studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he served as editor of the student union magazine, before going on to work as a researcher and correspondent for IBA TV news. Gabbay is currently completing a master’s degree in law.
“Nati is an energetic and creative person who will strengthen JPost.com as the most popular English-language website in Israel and the Jewish world,” said editor-in-chief Steve Linde. “We are redesigning the site to make it more interesting and easier to navigate, and Nati will supervise the introduction of a range of new features, including live-streaming from news events.”
“I look forward to bringing my combined experience in television, Internet and the print media to JPost.com,” said Gabbay.
“With the help of a great team of editors and correspondents, we have every intention of offering our readers an exciting, interactive multi-media experience.”
