Aharonovitch approves new round of police appointments

The appointments were made by Insp.-Gen. Yochanan Danino in recent weeks, and follow a reshuffle of district heads.

Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch approved a series of appointments to the position of deputy commander in several districts and positions in the Israel Police on Monday.
The appointments were made by Insp.-Gen. Yochanan Danino in recent weeks, and follow a reshuffle of district heads that was made as soon as Danino began his term as police commissioner.
The latest appointments include David Bitan as deputy commander of the southern district, Shuki Ziso to deputy commander of the Tel Aviv district and Rami Zonenfeld to deputy head of the northern district.
Eight additional appointments were made to the post of deputy commander throughout the police force.
