Cooking with JPost - Tomato & Mozzarella Salad

Need a quick, delicious dish for a potluck Shabbat lunch, or an appetizer for a group of hungry friends? Then this fast, easy tomato-mozzarella salad is just what you need.


Chef Yochanan uses figs in this recipe which will complement the creaminess of the cheese and sourness of the tomato.

What you will need:


Wooden spoon
Glass plate
Sliced mozzarella
Sliced tomatoes 
Figs
Fig vinaigrette 
Stuffed baby red peppers (with cream cheese)


STEP 1

Layer cheese and tomatoes to create beautiful red and while colorful combination. 


STEP 2
Place figs in center of plate in shape of flower. Then place crushed baby pepper on top.


STEP 3 
Drizzle fig vinaigrette over figs
