A few weeks before summer hits us full force, I was invited to try out a new face and body treatment at the Ronit Raphael Science of Beauty center. A treatment called Face and Body Sculpting was added recently to the extensive menu of treatments. This one uses a new technology for tightening and sculpting the skin’s texture along the contours of the body and the face.I chose the facial treatment and can only attest to the results achieved after one treatment, although the beautician said one needs a series of them to achieve significant results.Using cutting-edge radio frequency equipment, the machine utilizes 3 RF channels that work simultaneously on three layers of the skin, heating the deep tissue, promoting blood flow, metabolism and destruction of fat cells and improving the lymphatic drainage.According to the company, the treatment also promotes the production of collagen and elastin in the cells, resulting in firmer, younger-looking skin. It can be applied to the face, tummy, arms, back, thighs and buttocks. Also integrated in the treatment is vacuum therapy, which makes the procedure more effective.The procedure is especially effective for women and men over 35 suffering from cellulite, loss of elasticity or fat accumulation.One would need more than one treatment, but the number of treatments depends on the condition and the area treated.It is painless and quite relaxing, and even after just one treatment, I could see results.
