1 FILM COLLEGE PERFECTION Pitch Perfect 2, the teen comedy sequel to the 2013 blockbuster, is filled with spectacular musical numbers, presenting contemporary hits and golden oldies.

2 MUSIC GREEK GROOVIN’ During the summer, every Friday the Tel Aviv Port will host live shows of groove and indie bands. The Port Groove events will feature Alon Eder, Jane Bordeaux, Buttering Trio and Mika Karni. This Friday, the port presents Isaiah, a band that mixes pop, indie-rock, American folk, Greek and Mediterranean elements into a unique local sound.

3 THE BEAUTY OF THE VOICE This year’s three-day annual Abu Ghosh Vocal Music Festival features 12 vocal concerts in two churches boasting the best acoustics in the country. Nine choirs, eight conductors, orchestras, instrumental ensembles and dozens of soloists.

And Shem-Tov Levi will host acclaimed soprano Claire Meghnagi.

4 CHILDREN BACK TO THE PAST The whole family is invited to enjoy a multi-sensory experience at the Time Elevator. With various destination choices, visitors can take 25-minute geographic, cultural, historic and scientific virtual tours. Participants will receive 3D glasses and headphones to experience fully the nine state-of-the-art simulators and screening systems.

The tour raises money for The Koby Mandell Foundation programs, which help families of victims of terror through healing retreats, support groups, individual grief counseling and Camp Koby for children who lost loved ones.

7 ART THE PAINTINGS OF A PHOENIX Nora Stanciu’s newest exhibition “Maiastra,” (Miraculous Bird), is on display at the Museum of Israeli Art. Born in Romania in 1954, Stanciu spent most of her life under the communist regime, hiding her Jewish identity. presents the musical Guys and , with a cast of 60 and a full orchestra. The fable of Broadway, based on stories, is filled with melody and mirth.

Performed in Engidentity.

When she started painting in Israel in 1992, she regained the ability to express her feelings, thoughts and passions.

8 MIXED BAG AT THE CROSSROADS For Shavuot, the Hebrew Union College is hosting an evening of studying and singing with Tamir Nir, deputy mayor of Jerusalem and rabbi of the Achva community, and Daniela Spector, acclaimed singer-songwriter. Later during the night there will be sessions and lectures focusing on change, improvement, reform, our relationship with community and society, important decision-making and more.

9 SIPPIN’ ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY The White Wine on the Beach Festival will be held at Herzliya’s Marina, offering more than 100 types of white wine, wine “speed taste” workshops with expert wine guides and live music. Some of the leading wineries and wine importers will participate. Guests include the ambassador of Peru, who will launch Pisco, Peru’s national drink.

10 KREMBO SUMMER Krembo Wings is a youth movement for children and teens with special needs, which integrates them into regular social-education programs.

The organization will hold a huge fund-raising rock concert, presenting some of Israel’s biggest rockers: Mashina, Mooki, Ivri Lider, Hayehudim and Ethnix. All proceeds will go toward new Krembo Wings branches in the periphery.
