(TNS) - The grandson of a Nazi war criminal who appeared on the History channel on the condition of anonymity was in for an unpleasant surprise on Tuesday when his face was left uncensored for several seconds. The man, described as an “anonymous informant,” met with the hosts of the show Hunting Hitler, and showed them what he claimed were microfilm copies of the Fuherer’s last will and testament. While the man’s face was pixelated for most of his appearance in the show's Season 3 finale, one shot clearly revealed his identity in what appears to be an editing error.Viewers were quick to point out the mistake and took to social media to share screenshots of the man’s face.“@History so much for protecting the identity of the Nazi informant. Curious to see out this pans out legally #oops #HuntingHitler,” James Agne wrote on Twitter.
