About 100 Israelis protested on Monday at the Gush Etzion junction in the West Bank, near the hitchhiking post where three Israelis are believed to have been kidnapped. Three protesters were arrested for disturbing the peace.
Right-wing activists were protesting against the government's handling of the kidnap, clapping, whistling and chanting anti-Arab and anti-government slogans.
"You protect them [the Arabs] instead of us!" one activist shouted. "You are not our police. We will topple this government. We don't want this government, we want a Jewish state!"
Other activists carried and waved Israeli flags, as police officers looked on, monitoring the rally.
