Last Thursday, more than 2,000 Taglit Birthright Israel participants and 500Israel Defense Forces soldiers came together at the Wingate Institute forthe first International Sports Day.The schedule included intense sporting activities and the evening broughtwith it a challenging twist when the Maccabi Tel Aviv youth basketball teamjoined the group in a spirited match with Israeli hoops legend Tal Brody asthe referee.
