According to the announcement, the Blue Line will begin operations in stages between 2028 and 2030.

The Secondary Schools Teachers Organization was expected to lift the sanctions when the new school year began after it came to agreements with the Finance Ministry at the last second.
The agreements, which the Secondary School Teachers' Association described as a "phenomenal achievement," will be detailed in due course, it said.
The agreement comes following months of negotiations between the ministries and the organizations in order to come to a resolution prior to the beginning of the new school year.
As part of the agreement reached, the funds will be transferred from the Finance Ministry to the Interior Ministry, which will then allocate and move the funds over to Arab local councils.

Many Arab communities currently lack classrooms and schools – approximately 305 are needed throughout the country – and part of the grant was intended for constructing schools.
The price of gas will remain at NIS 6.85 per liter.
