The Knesset will go on recess for the Passover holiday from April 8 to May 18 despite the ongoing war in Gaza.

Netanyahu canceled a scheduled visit to Washington by two of his most senior aides who were due to hear US ideas about operational alternatives.

Israel's delegation, led by MK Danny Danon, successfully stopped the attempt to pass both proposals, which were ultimately voted down. 

MK Meir Cohen criticizes cabinet members Ganz and Eisenkot, stating they have little influence on the government's conduct, calling them an "oxygen balloon" for Netanyahu.

The decision could also have political implications. One way Netanyahu's opponents are attempting to bring down the government is by having the Knesset pass a bill to disperse itself.

Liberal democracies include the above, as well as "judicial and legislative constraints on the executive along with the protection of civil liberties and equality before the law."

Hadash-Ta'al MK and faction leader Ayman Odeh was taken out of the Knesset plenum after he made remarks opposing IDF's war in Gaza.

"There is a reason that social work positions are unfilled. The social workers need to know when they will get the money," she said, referencing hundreds of unfilled positions for social workers.

The long meeting discussed the effect of the minimum wage on the functioning of hospitals run by non-profit organizations.

"Those currently detained are teenagers aged 17 or 16. Some women assisted in the kidnappings, guarded the hostages, and helped the terrorists."
