BBC’s affairs documentary program Panorama revealed that the police knew that CCTV footage contradicted the prosecution’s main witness’s testimony.

The British woman was given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered her to pay $1,637 in prosecution costs.

Rimer, a 53-year-old Ramle resident, was arrested last week, with investigators saying that the pediatric intensive care unit CCTV captured footage of her crimes.

The suspect, identified as Yaakov Yisrael Berkowitz, 31, allegedly poured gasoline on the 12-year-old victim following an earlier confrontation with his father.

Of the thousands of online crimes reported in 2024, over half of them involved theft and/or distribution of information (52.4%), with a higher likelihood of women being the victims.

Herzog declared that every local authority should make the banning of guns and violence of any kind a top priority.
