Sauté, Roso Silver
Just in time for Passover cooking (yes, it’s happening very soon, we checked) but without any real need for an apparent reason, a new kitchen product series arrives from Roso, the house brand of Cook & Bake.

The collection, under the spoiler name Silver, is based on stainless steel and is aimed at an audience that has already done a round or two on the stovetop and in front of the oven, and wants something durable and high-quality, with a nod to the professional kitchens of the food world and a timeless look. Not subject to trend, not excited by colors and not concerned with passing fashion.

Roso’s Silver cookware is manufactured using PLY 3 technology – layers of stainless steel on top and bottom, and a middle layer of aluminum. Together, they ensure excellent heat distribution relative to the genre, healthy dialogue with all types of stovetops and solid durability in the oven, in the dishwasher and even against scratches from metal utensils.

You can find here pots (NIS 469–649), frying pans (NIS 229–339), pressure cookers (NIS 759–829) and also a wonderful sauté pan (NIS 529), the king of everyday cooking in homes.

The latter, which was sent for review, highlights an ideal diameter of 28 cm and a capacity of 3.7 liters, expected usability for stews-frying and an organic skip to the oven (up to 250 degrees, but without a lid). The initial concern about burning too quickly or a “sticky” surface turned out to be unnecessary and the performance made it clear that this is something that will quickly take the front spot in the pots and pans drawer. The relatively elegant silver look completes the move, and the friendly ties with the dishwasher sealed it hermetically, eliminating the bothersome and typical washing required by other utensils.
