Discounts also for the high-end: Joining the wave of price reductions in the car market since the beginning of 2026 is Hamizrach, the Land Rover importer. Hamizrach published today a new price list with discounts of up to NIS 61,000, and a well-equipped but cheaper Defender model.
The price reductions are attributed to the strengthening of the shekel, but also to the increase in parallel imports of Land Rover models over the past year, as has happened with other luxury brands such as Porsche and BMW.
The NIS 61,000 discount applies to the sporty Defender OCTA, which was recently reviewed by Walla Cars, although it is still a NIS 1.5 million vehicle. There are also discounts of up to NIS 77,000 for the classic Range Rover and up to NIS 28,000 for the Range Rover Sport.
At the lower price tier, the Range Rover Velar was reduced by NIS 21,700 to NIS 545,000, and the American-spec Range Rover Evoque, with a 2-liter, 4-cylinder engine producing 250 hp and upgraded 250S trim, will be offered at NIS 399,000, a discount of NIS 10,000.
At the same time, the Defender receives a new equipment level aimed at improving competition with the Toyota Land Cruiser. Hamizrach launched about a year and a half ago the cheaper 110, which until recently cost NIS 561,000, slightly more than the more expensive models in the popular Japanese off-road lineup. However, it was too basic in terms of equipment, and customers seeking an off-road vehicle at NIS 50,000 also wanted electrically adjustable seats and fabric upholstery.
Now, the base 110 is cheaper by NIS 26,000, priced at NIS 535,000, while for an additional NIS 5,000 it will be sold with the Windsor trim, including leather upholstery, front seats with heating and cooling and electric adjustment, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear selector, and electrically adjustable steering.
At the same time, the short 3-door Defender 90 will return to the local lineup at a price of NIS 529,000 for the Windsor trim. Both models have a 3-liter turbo diesel engine with 200 hp, coil springs instead of airbags, and no lift option.
