American Express Israel and the international aviation and services company Jetex have announced the signing of a cooperation agreement, under which a new premium lounge will open at Ben Gurion Airport during the coming month, offering an exclusive hospitality experience to Israelis holding American Express Platinum and Centurion cards.
As part of the collaboration, American Express Platinum and Centurion clients will enjoy a luxurious lounge experience at international standards.
The new lounge is set to open during the coming month and will be located at the entrance to the main duty-free area. The lounge will operate around the clock, 24 hours a day, and will include dedicated rest and work areas alongside premium service at international standards. Guests will enjoy a menu inspired by local flavors and a rich selection of beverages.
Meni Cohen, CEO of American Express Israel, said: "American Express cardholders enjoy a wide range of value-added benefits that accompany them on trips around the world, as part of an approach that places the quality of the travel experience at the center. The new lounge at Ben Gurion Airport continues this experience in Israel and will allow our clients to enjoy a high-quality pre-flight experience with local, authentic cuisine and advanced global hospitality standards."
