Moshav Dor on the Hof Hacarmel coast has received approval to establish an area for significant tourism development intended for hospitality and recreation, which will include 515 rooms on an area of about 80 dunams.

On the planned site on Dor Beach, a hotel with 400 rooms will be established, rural accommodation and in addition a camping complex intended for tents and caravans. The company Tzameret Ganei Hadera will be a partner in the deal.

This is a rezoning and land utilization deal for Moshav Dor on employment areas that were used for purposes of rural accommodation, tourism, a camping parking lot and storage. Today, rural accommodation areas, a caravan parking lot and tourism services operate in Moshav Dor.

The approval given by the Israel Land Authority management will allow tourism development on a larger scale and at a higher level and the creation of a tourism center adjacent to Dor Beach, which attracts many vacationers every year. In addition, the tourism center is expected to bring about the creation of new sources of employment and to serve as an economic engine for the development of the entire region.

This is a rezoning that makes it possible to utilize land reserves in an optimal way and turn the place into a tourism attraction on a national scale in one of the most sought-after coastal strips in Israel. The deal will serve as an economic lever for the development of the area and will create new sources of employment".
