This is the holiday, of course, with its cooking and hosting. It is also spring, apparently, with the need to renew and refresh. These are certainly the cleanings, and in the slightly more complex case of the State of Israel, the situation also has something to say here. Either way, Russo’s new series tries to meet all its challenges and goals, including those that landed on it unexpectedly.

The excellent brand from Cook And Bake does all this with Mono, a new collection that brings together its popular hits and elevates them aesthetically and in design. It includes cooking and baking tools, storage boxes and kitchen accessories – all in mocha brown, dark blue and bottle green colors.

The focus, as can be expected from a company oriented toward everyday kitchen work, is on cookware, including pots, sauté pans, frying pans and roasters, and in dialogue with the brand’s popular Capstone series.

The roaster that was tested supported all of these with a diligent presence on the stovetop, including successful heat distribution, surfaces and materials that felt durable and good even in relatively complex cooking, a non-stick coating that truly refused to stick, efficient entry into the oven (up to 180 degrees with the lid, beyond that without it), and also what was promised from the outset – appearance and photogenic quality, from the flame straight to the center of the table.

The catalog includes pots (28 cm, and a 20+24 cm set, NIS 119–159), frying pans (20 cm, and a 24+28 cm set, NIS 69–159), sauté pans (32 cm, and 24+28 or 24+28+32 cm sets, NIS 149–299) and a roaster (7.8 liters, NIS 129).

In addition to these, there are towels and elegant-rustic English cake pans, “snap” boxes and kitchen utensils, cutlery that will work well as a holiday gift (yes, also for you) and a promise of promotions that are aware of the calendar.
