The Levinsky–Wingate Academic Center, in collaboration with the Wingate Institute, is launching the renovated professional library at the Wingate Campus, which will become a central space on campus, encouraging extended stays and meaningful learning.

The renovated library was designed by the firm Spaces Ltd. Kessel Planners as an open and continuous space from end to end, furnished with a variety of furniture and colors in a way that will enable all contemporary learning methods with a look toward the future.

Colorful intimate spaces and spacious areas were created, furnished with a variety of furniture pieces in order to allow for many modes of learning. All components of the space – from the lighting and the acoustic ceiling to the furniture – were intended to provide a light atmosphere and a deep, pleasant learning experience.

The library spans an area of 800 square meters; it was redesigned and upgraded on the foundations of the veteran library and offers approximately 35,000 books.

Shlomo Ben-Gal, CEO of the Levinsky–Wingate Academic Center: "The aspiration was to create much more than a library – a space of knowledge and inspiration. A place that connects a rich academic tradition with advanced innovation, featuring sophisticated learning spaces, quiet rooms, and unconventional seating areas, encouraging interaction, creative thinking, and dialogue between students, lecturers, and researchers."

As part of the upgrade, the possibilities for use and stay in the facility were significantly expanded; for example: Two dedicated quiet rooms for reading and focused study, alongside spaces for group learning and academic discussions, five giant screens for collaborative work, content presentation, and interactive learning, a new Senate complex for academic events, book launches, and workshops, 13 advanced computer stations with access to professional databases, and diverse seating areas in a relaxed and creative atmosphere including hammocks, beanbags, sofas, and armchairs.
