Ahead of the Shavuot holiday, and at a time when many small businesses are still trying to recover from the past year, the meex Sharonim complex will host a special fair this week dedicated entirely to male and female reservists – this time not in uniform, but as business owners.

The fair, which will be called Reservist Produce, will take place between May 19 and 21 and will bring together dozens of businesses owned by reservists from all over the country, from the fields of food, lifestyle, fashion, design, technology, and leisure.

Behind the initiative stands an attempt to provide a stage for businesses whose owners were drafted for extended periods since the beginning of the war, while part of their business activity was halted or harmed. According to the event organizers, the participating business owners served together a cumulative total of about 20 years of reserve duty since the beginning of the fighting.

At the complex, they emphasize that this is not a donation fair, but a consumer event in every respect – one that seeks to connect local buying with support for Israeli businesses that were harmed in the recent period.

Among the booths that will participate in the fair will be boutique wineries, Israeli distilleries, home styling products, natural candles, flowers, honey gift boxes for the holiday, fashion and jewelry brands, books, building sets, care products, and also professional services in the fields of insurance, finance, and mortgages.

In order to allow the business owners to focus on sales and meeting the public, the complex funds all production, booth construction, and advertising costs.

The fair will take place at meex Sharonim between the dates of May 19–21. Entrance is free.
