In recent years, Kiryat Ono has become one of the most intriguing culinary cities in the central region, and it now seems that one of Israel’s oldest and most well-known food brands also wants to take part in this wave.
So, after the announcement of a new branch opening in Tel Aviv, Oved Bakfar is expected to open another branch in Kiryat Ono, as part of an expansion that is gaining momentum beyond its long-standing flagship restaurant in Or Yehuda.
The new branch, which will be called Oved Ba'ir, is expected to open in a few months and will operate in a fast food format. Unlike the large and well-known flagship restaurant, this time it will be a relatively small space, better suited for customers looking for a quick dining experience in a nearby entertainment complex.
The entry of the veteran skewer restaurant into Kiryat Ono is no coincidence. Over the past year, a large number of restaurants and chains have decided to open branches there. The reason is untapped potential, along with families and young people moving into the city’s developing new neighborhoods.
The restaurant will open in a new complex, next to an Italian restaurant and a pizza chain, further establishing the area as a growing entertainment hub.
