The water holiday, namely Shavuot, has just ended – an excellent opportunity to refresh with a brand new slide complex at the Shefayim Water Park. We are talking about four new inner tube slides with a colorful design, which go by the name Candy Slide – just like a colorful lollipop. We got a first glimpse (and slide) at all four of the new slides, including two for the toddlers.

The Candy Slide includes four inner tube slides for single or double sliding, combining speed, turns, and an extreme experience accessible to both children and adults. Sliding in the complex is adapted starting from a height of 107 cm on the two lower slides, and from a height of 120 cm and above on all four slides. Maximum weight for a single rider stands at up to 136 kg, and for a pair of riders up to 181 kg, so that parents and children can also slide together in the same experience and in the same inner tube.

"The innovation here is that on the lower level there are slides where much younger children, ages 4–5, can slide, because there are two slides here where the minimum height of the riders is 107 cm – which until today the park had no solution for," explains Sharon Laor, Marketing and Sales Manager at the Shefayim Water Park.

According to her, quite a bit of money was invested in the new complex – about NIS 15 million. "Development work was invested here, we also expanded the park – everything for the customer experience so that there will be less of a queue at the slides, so that there will be a solution for every age group," she adds.

Visitor numbers will be limited to half of previous years

And indeed, alongside the new complex, the Shefayim Water Park promises that this year visitor numbers will be limited to less than half of the permitted capacity, this with the aim of reducing crowding and queues and maintaining a pleasant recreational experience.

Diverse activity areas and facilities are spread throughout the park for every age: Dedicated complexes for toddlers and children with about 140 water fountains, a jungle area, the largest wave pool of its kind in Israel, 35 sliding tracks in eight different complexes, including inner tube tracks, calm slides alongside extreme slides like Kamikaze, a fast storm slide, Racer, a winding slalom track, a double inner tube ride in a dark track with special effects, the pirate ship with six slides and water cannons, and the giant water bucket in the world that empties once every four minutes.

Shaded, spacious, and accessible seating areas are scattered throughout the park, alongside diverse dining complexes offering food and drinks in biodegradable utensils. Ordering food is done via a QR code available throughout the park and on the website, and collection is done when the order is ready, without waiting in line. At the entrance to the park, you can find a new convenience store and a locker complex for personal equipment.
