A wave of Iranian missiles was launched on Friday morning after almost 12 hours of silence.

Magen David Adom stated that there had been one reported injury during the sirens, a 25-year-old woman. She was given medical treatment and taken to a nearby hospital in light condition.

Following the sirens, several missile fragments were reported to have fallen in open spaces in central Israel, heavily damaging two buildings and causing minor damage to surrounding structures.

Damage included shattered windows and torn-away blinds, as well as scattered debris throughout the area.

Police and Magen David Adom units combed the area after receiving reports of fallen shrapnel, but no further injuries were reported.

Sirens also sounded near the Gaza Strip on Friday, before the IDF confirmed that it had been a false alarm.

Iranian Missile Shrapnel causes fires in northern Israel

Fires broke out in several open locations in northern Israel following the sirens on Friday.

"Upon receiving reports of falls in the area, we dispatched forces to several fire locations in open areas. We ask the public to stay away from the areas and allow the firefighting forces to operate at the scene," said the fire chief at the scene.

A fire broke out in central Israel after shrapnel from an Iranian missile hit central Israel on Thursday night, following a launch that triggered sirens throughout the country. 

Eyewitness reports claimed that Iran used cluster munitions, although this was not confirmed by any official governmental or military source.

Several firefighting crews responded to the fire and determined that it was a warehouse that had been hit by a missile fragment and immediately went up in flames.

Firefighters worked to stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings and extinguish the source.

Child sustains minor injuries, three people treated for acute trauma 

United Hatzalah reported that a 10-year-old boy sustained minor injuries as a result of the shrapnel hit. He received first aid treatment at the scene and was then taken to a nearby hospital. Responders also treated three people suffering from post-traumatic symptoms. 

Sirens triggered in northern Israeli town

In the early hours of Friday morning, sirens were heard several times in several towns in northern Israel near the Lebanon border. No property damage or injuries were reported. 

Additionally, residents of the northern West Bank rushed to protected areas in the early hours of Friday morning following a hostile aircraft intrusion warning. The event resolved with no reported injuries or damage.
