Hamas sources say man close to top leaders was planting bugs in the organization's radios, Israel reportedly extricates agent when discovered.
A collaborator in Hamas' Izzadin Kassam Brigades, the group's military wing, was planting bugs in two-way radios he supplied them with in order to locate captive soldier Gilad Schalit, according to a report in Egypt's al-Ahram newspaper on Thursday.
Hamas said that it thwarted the attempt to locate Schalit when they discovered the man was working for Israeli security services.

The organization also said that the man maintained relationships with top Hamas members in order to learn information about where Schalit is being held.
The Hamas sources said that once they realized that an Israeli agent had supplied them with their radios, they quickly stopped using them. Soon thereafter, when Israel realized that their man had been outed as an Israeli agent, they quickly extricated him from the Gaza Strip.
Schalit's family has been occupying a protest tent outside the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem, saying they will stay there until they see their son again.
In September, Gilad's brother visited the Red Cross in Geneva to deliver a letter to his brother with hopes that the organization might be able to pass it along.
