Indian authorities nab man trying to breach Israeli embassy in New Delhi
Indian authorities arrested a man outside the Israeli embassy in New Delhi on Wednesday, after the mission informed police of a suspicious figure holding a package and trying to enter the premise.

The man in his 30s bolted when authorities approached him after which police and embassy guards chased him down, The Times of India reported on Thursday.

Bomb sappers and canine units were called in to dismantle the man's parcel, which they reportedly found to contain an idol of the Hindu deity, Ganesha.

The incident came two years after a car bomb exploded and injured an Israeli embassy worker in the Indian capital.
