IDF: Possibility of shifted landmines in Arava, Negev due to flooding
Following heavy rain and flooding in recent days, travelers and hikers in the Arava and Negev regions should be alert to the possibility of shifted landmines, the IDF Spokesperson's Office said Friday.

Minefields are indicated by barbed wire, a red warning triangle and a yellow sign with a "danger" warning. The public is asked not to touch suspicious objects, to move away and inform security forces in the event that they come upon any such objects.

Southern Command engineering forces were scanning the areas where they suspect landmines may have shifted, the IDF said.
