Army source says incident wholly unrelated to the deaths of two Palestinian rioters during the clashes.
An IDF soldier who was present at last week's Nakba Day clash with Palestinians in Beitunia was suspended for illegally firing rubber bullets at a wall.
The soldier, from a non-combat unit, used the firearm in an unlicensed manner, army sources said.
The incident is wholly unrelated to the
deaths of two Palestinian rioters
during the clashes.
The army is investigating the deaths, and has maintained that soldiers fired rubber bullets only during a clash with 150 Palestinians, who hurled firebombs and rocks at security personnel.
