Protest against Gaza operation and counter demonstration take place in Haifa

In the Mercaz Hacarmel area of Haifa, hundreds of protesters against the Gaza operation and hundreds more in support of the operation staged demonstrations at the same time in the northern port city.
A large number of police were keeping the two camps apart.
