Burst water pipe disrupts supply to thousands of homes
A major water main burst at the Pat Intersection in southern Jerusalem Sunday morning, leading to heavy traffic and disruptions in water supplies to residences throughout the capital.

According to the Jerusalem Municipality, Hagihon, the capital’s water utility company, said normal water flow should be restored to most neighborhoods – with the possible exception of Gilo – as of Sunday evening. If water is not restored in Gilo, the municipality said water distribution stations would be placed throughout the neighborhood for residents. For more information regarding the state of the city’s water supply, residents have been asked to call Hagihon at *2070.
