"All of the Israelis that we were looking for have been located," the official told 'The Jerusalem Post,' confirming that their diplomats on the ground in Nevada were on their way back to California.
WASHINGTON – Twelve Israelis who were unaccounted for in Las Vegas amid a massacre there on Sunday night have been identified and are safe, an official with the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles said on Tuesday.

“All of the Israelis that we were looking for have been located,” the official told The Jerusalem Post, confirming that their diplomats on the ground in Nevada were on their way back to California.

One man opened fire from a window in the Mandalay Bay hotel on Sunday night, killing 59 people and injuring more than 500 others. The event amounts to the worst mass shooting in modern American history.

According to the Gun Violence Archive, this was the 272nd mass shooting event – in which four or more people were shot in one incident, not including the shooter – in the last 276 days.
