At least 28 drones reportedly entered Gaza in recent months, raising concerns they reached Hamas, despite the IDF thwarting 89 drone smuggling attempts since January, according to Army Radio.

The finance minister’s statements calling for West Bank and Gaza annexation often draw sharp international condemnation, as well as criticism for harming Israel’s global standing.

“No one can imagine the level of fear and intimidation Hamas has instilled in people’s hearts since its foundation in 1987,” said one Palestinian from Gaza City.

Hamas is now working harder than before to redevelop rocket firing capabilities against Israel to intimidate the Jewish state into heeding its demands.

Military officials say operational control could expand further while forces strengthen defenses and prepare for possible renewed fighting.

An additional IDF strike killed three other armed terrorists from Hamas' military wing, all of whom the military said had been "attempting to advance attacks against IDF troops."

PIJ terrorist Zaki Youssef Mahmoud Abu Mustafa was killed in a strike in the Gaza Strip on Friday, according to a joint statement released by the IDF and Shin Bet.
