Rabbi Berel Lazar (born 1964) is an Orthodox, Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidic rabbi. He is presently one of two claimants of being the Chief Rabbi of Russia, and chairman of the Federation of Jewish Communities. In September 2005 Lazar became a member of the Public Chamber of Russia.
