Report: PA says will reject delay of next Palestinian prisoner release

The Palestinian Authority said on Monday it would not agree to a postponement of the third release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails, Israel Radio reported.
According to a Maariv report earlier in the day, the US had informed the PA of a month's delay for the release - originally set for December or January - following the Palestinian rejection on Thursday of security arrangements presented by the US for a possible future peace accord with Israel.
But, a spokesman for PA President Mahmoud Abbas said the Palestinians would reject such a move.
