Following an industrial fire that broke out in Bnei Brak, the Environmental Protection Ministry on Sunday warned the public to avoid spending time outside enclosed buildings located within a 50-meter radius of HaYarkon 6 in the city. The warning came on Sunday afternoon due to the large amounts of asbestos detected burning at the site. Those people inside the area's buildings were requested to refrain from opening windows and using air conditioners.

The Environmental Protection Ministry said it issued the warnings in consultation with the Health Ministry, the Israel Police and Israel Fire and Rescue Services.
