Bennett raps Liberman for talking too tough

Bayit Yehudi chairman Naftali Bennett criticized Yisrael Beytenu head Avigdor Liberman on Wednesday, for warning Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah that he should remain in his bunker in Lebanon.
Defense Minister Liberman made the statement in response to threats from Nasrallah to strike Israel’s nuclear facility in the southern town of Dimona and the Haifa ammonia storage tank, which is now slated for closure.
Bennett compared Liberman’s statement about Nasrallah to his previous threat in April 2016 that if he were appointed defense minister, he would order the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh within 48 hours if the terrorist organization does not return the bodies of the IDF soldiers that have been held ever since 2014’s Operation Protective Edge.
“I think it would be better to refrain from aggressive outbursts on Nasrallah and Haniyeh,” Bennett told Army Radio. “We should speak with actions and not with baseless threats. In the Middle East, what matters is results, not words.”
Liberman declined to respond to Bennett.
