MIAMI - Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney won his party's primary in Puerto Rico on Sunday, picking up more delegates in the race to determine who will face Democratic President Barack Obama in the Nov. 6 election, CNN said.

Based on a projection from about 10 percent of the early returns that showed the former Massachusetts governor winning more than 80 percent of the vote, Romney was expected to win all 20 delegates up for grabs in the primary in the US island territory.
