Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon condemned violent riots that raged in Israeli-Arab towns on Saturday, saying the rioters acted in a manner he equated with terrorists.

"Those who act like terrorists needs to be treated like terrorists," he charged. "There is a need for decisive action to deal with the hundreds of masked rioters throwing Molotov cocktail and stones and those calling out against the country from within its territory."

Danon expressed his support for security forces attempting to restore order in the region.
