EU foreign policy chief Mogherini to Address AJC Global Forum

NEW YORK - The European Union’s Foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini will address the American Jewish Committee’s Global Forum scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C. in June.
The announcement was made during a day-long AJC visit to Brussels for a series of high-level meetings to discuss subjects such as the migration crisis in Europe; the EU-Israel relationship; instability in the Middle East and terrorism among others.
CEO of AJC David Harris said the committee is looking forward to "We look forward to Mogherini’s participation at the Forum.
"At this critical juncture in global affairs, it is more important than ever that we engage with leaders of the democratic world, foster the transatlantic partnership, and share views on events unfolding in the Middle East,” he said.
Some 2,500 people from over 70 countries are expected to attend the conference.
